The monologues were written and originally performed by Whoopi Goldberg in 1984 and directed by Mike Nichols. This 2026 production was directed by Whitney White and features Kara Young, Kecia Lewis, Dominique Fishback, Kerry Washington, and Danielle Pinnock.
