Sherri Shepherd is single-handedly driving Death Becomes Her ticket sales among Michelle Willams’ fans. You don’t have to watch the clip any longer than Sherri saying “GIRL!” to decide to see it for yourself. The show is a retelling of a ‘92 cult classic film about two catty white women in a longtime battle to one-up each other. The contest is indefinitely extended when a gorgeous immortal witch (Williams) offers a beauty potion to both frenemies. Michelle’s character doesn’t get nearly enough stage time, but the special effects are enough to keep you tuned in between her appearances. The show is in previews until Nov 21. Tickets are sure to surge if Beyoncé shows up. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 

Death Becomes Her is on Broadway until May 2025.
