This video essay by anastazia x is a review of Shifters, which opened at Cherry Lane Theatre on July 15, 2026. Shifters was written by Benedict Lombe, who is only the 3rd Black woman to have written a show for the West End, directed by Lynette Linton, and stars Heather Agyepong and Daniel Ezra.
